Welcome to Syntheswim, LA’s premier learn-to-swim school, where we travel to you! We specialize in Private, Semi-Private and Parent & Me lessons from children ages 6 months to adults, novice to elite and are committed to a holistic method of being one with water. With up to 60% of the human body being composed of water and our skin being 0.05mm thick, our limited perspective presents an illusion of separation from the aquatic world around us. Through the mind, body, breath connection we learn to trust ourselves by exploring the wisdom of the water and the ancient art of swimming. Home to us since the womb, swimming is intuitive and Syntheswim’s purpose is to help students remember their innate connection, wonder, and ability with water. Every lesson invites fluid and natural development for each student, championing safety, technique and love of swimming for life. We combine confidence, creativity and curiosity to celebrate synthesized swimmers. Syntheswim was founded in 2022 by Paige Sommerer, who has taught thousands of children to swim over her 13+ years as a swim instructor, 10+ years a competitive swimmer and 2+ years as an elementary educator. All of her students have learned to swim. WSI, Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, First Aid certified. Happy swimming!
